My Story

​

Welcome to Old Tree Alchemy!  This is a creation from a love and practice of the the healing arts for over twenty-four years.  Old Tree Alchemy is also a discovery that our true healing can only happen from the roots up... the roots of our story, our trauma, our lineage, the needs of our spirit.   It is a weaving together of a belief that we all can find healing and there is joy, compassion, grief, fear, anger and magic all within it.  So come, join the journey with me.....

 

I graduated with a BA in Psychology, and a minor in Art, from the University of Wisconsin in 1998.  I followed my undergraduate studies with a licensure in Massage Therapy from East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon in 2000 and Transpersonal Hypnotherapy in 2010.  After over a decade in private practice, in 2015 I graduated with a Masters degree in Five Element Acupuncture from the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture in Louisville, Colorado.  At ITEA I was trained in the Worsley Classical Five-Element lineage of Acupuncture.  In 2021 I received a certificate in Functional and Integrative Medicine for Women through Dr. Aviva Romm's program.  During this past year I have been fortunate to learn the incredible healing art of Plant Spirit Medicine. 

I work with my clients, patients and students combining all of these beautiful healing modalities to help find healing from the roots up and to achieve the highest level of health possible.  I integrate over twenty years of sitting with teachers in an Earth-Based Knowledge and Education of life and ceremony to encourage bringing the Sacred into our healing and our daily lives.

I currently have a private practice in Stone House Health located in Lafayette, Colorado.  I am a teacher at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado and the Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture in Louisville, Colorado.
